Welcome.
I am a clinical psychologist with private psychotherapy practices in San Francisco and Menlo Park. I work with individual adults, couples, and adult family members, as well as provide supervision to other psychotherapists. Additionally, I offer psychologically informed consultation to leaders of organizations and professionals.
I received my bachelor’s degree from UC Berkeley and my PhD from the Wright Institute, an APA accredited psychology program in Berkeley.
My approach is interpersonal, both existentially and psychodynamically informed. In my early years, I was supervised by Dr. Irvin Yalom, and he has been highly influential in my work.
I believe my strengths include an ability to genuinely connect with patients in an empathic and nonjudgmental manner. I help my patients explore deeper issues and patterns underlying persistent unhappiness, as well as navigate life’s hurdles and transitions that may feel overwhelming.
Given my own life experience and over 20 years of learning from patients of diverse age, culture, social background, and sexual orientation, I’ve developed the wisdom to comprehend, the capacity to listen and understand, and an ability to help.
